U.S. Navy Announces Plan to Replace P-3C Aircraft with P-8A Multi-Mission Maritime Aircraft

The U.S. Department of the Navy is preparing an Environmental Impact Statement to assess the potential environmental effects of introducing the P-8A Multi-Mission Maritime Aircraft to the East and West Coasts of the United States and Hawaii, with the goal of replacing the P-3C aircraft at existing homebases while maintaining a presence in Hawaii.
