USDA Suspends Continuance Referenda for California Nectarines and Peaches Due to Recent Amendments

The USDA has temporarily suspended provisions requiring continuance referenda for California nectarines and peaches during winter 2006-07, allowing the industry sufficient time to evaluate the effects of recent amendments to the marketing orders and minimizing confusion during the upcoming committee nomination period.
