U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Publishes Plan for Transition of Regulatory Authority Over Byproduct Material

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is publishing a plan to facilitate an orderly transition of regulatory authority over byproduct material, as required by the Energy Policy Act of 2005, following the expanded definition of byproduct material under the Atomic Energy Act of 1954.
