NRC Waives Requirements for Byproduct Material Licensing in Certain States

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has terminated its waiver of licensing requirements for byproduct material in states that have demonstrated adequate programs to protect public health and safety, as required by the Energy Policy Act of 2005.
