Nuclear Regulatory Commission Approves Revised Spent Fuel Storage Cask Regulations for Holtec International's HI- STORM 100

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has amended its regulations for spent fuel storage casks, specifically the Holtec International HI- STORM 100 system, to include changes to thermal validation tests, decay heat loads, and fuel assembly weights, as outlined in Amendment No. 5 to Certificate of Compliance Number 1014.
