USPTO Amends Trademark Application Rules to Require Mark Description

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has updated its rules to require a detailed description of the mark in all trademark applications that don't use standard characters, aiming to improve searchability and accuracy in the USPTO database.
