FCC Dismisses Radio Broadcasting Services Petitions and Counterproposal
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has dismissed petitions from the Northern Paul Bunyan Radio Company to allot channels for radio broadcasting services in Harrisville and Presque Isle, Michigan, due to conflicts with a counterproposal from Northern Michigan Radio, Inc. The FCC also terminated the proceedings in response to the counterproposal, which proposed allotting a channel that would not provide a local transmission service.
