Radio Broadcasting Services; Dilley and Pearsall, TX

The Audio Division, at the request of Pearsall Radio Works, Ltd., reallots Channel 237A from Pearsall to Dilley, Texas, and modifies Station KVWG-FM's license accordingly. See 68 FR 18177, April 15, 2003. Channel 237A can be allotted to Dilley in compliance with the Commission's minimum distance separation requirements with a site restriction of 2.7 kilometers (1.7 miles) east at Petitioner's requested site. The reference coordinates for Channel 237A at Dilley are 28-39-55 North Latitude and 99-08-35 West Longitude. Additionally, Channel 227A can be allotted to Pearsall, Texas, as a replacement service with a site restriction of 1.7 kilometers (1.1 miles) west at Petitioner's requested site. The reference coordinates for Channel 227A at Pearsall are 28-53-13 North Latitude and 99-06-40 West Longitude. See Supplementary Informaton, infra.

Promoting Fair and Open Competitive Bidding in the E-Rate Program; Schools and Libraries Universal Service Support Mechanism

In this document, the Federal Communications Commission (Commission) announces that the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has approved until November 30, 2027 an information collection associated with the rules for the Universal Service Schools and Libraries program contained in the Commission's Promoting Fair and Open Competitive Bidding in the E-Rate Program; Schools and Libraries Universal Service Support Mechanism Report and Order (Report and Order), WC Docket No. 21-455, CC Docket No. 02-6; FCC 26-30. This document is consistent with the Report and Order, which stated that the Commission would publish a document in the Federal Register announcing the effective date of the new information collection requirements.

Protecting Against National Security Threats to the Communications Supply Chain Through the Equipment Authorization Program

In this document, the Federal Communications Commission (Commission or FCC) takes further steps to strengthen its equipment authorization program against national security risks to the communications supply chain. The Commission closes a component-part loophole by prohibiting authorization of devices that incorporate logic-bearing hardware components produced by an entity identified on the Commission's Covered List, where the device would itself be prohibited from authorization had the Covered List entity produced the entire device. The Commission also requires that any modification or permissive change to equipment by an entity identified on the Covered List undergo full certification, clarifies that its marketing rules reach any entity (including online marketplaces) that markets unauthorized equipment, and requires online marketplaces, subject to limited exceptions, to display a device's FCC ID at the online point of sale. Finally, the Commission amends its definition of "critical infrastructure," as used on the Covered List, and corrects two administrative errors in its rules.
