FCC Denies Petition to Substitute Channels at Culebra and Vieques, Puerto Rico

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) denied a petition by Western New Life, Inc. to substitute Channel 291A for Channel 254A at Culebra, Puerto Rico, and to delete Channel 291B at Vieques, Puerto Rico, citing a lack of public interest in the proposed changes. The FCC also rejected an alternative proposal to downgrade Channel 291B to a Class B allotment, as expressions of interest had been filed to retain the channel as a Class B allotment.
