FCC Implements Rules to Prevent Unsolicited Fax Ads

The Federal Communications Commission has updated regulations to enforce the Junk Fax Prevention Act of 2005, which prohibits sending unsolicited fax advertisements, as mandated by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991.
