FDA Releases Guidance on Human Cells, Tissues, and Products Recovered from Donors Tested for Communicable Diseases

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has made available a guidance document that provides recommendations for establishments making human cells, tissues, and products (HCT/Ps) donor eligibility determinations, particularly those recovered from donors tested for communicable diseases using pooled specimens or diagnostic tests, effective May 25, 2005.
