FDA Approves Zilpaterol for Animal Feeds, Amends Regulations

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending animal drug regulations to reflect approval of a supplemental new animal drug application (NADA) filed by Intervet Inc. for zilpaterol hydrochloride, allowing the removal of a caution statement regarding the formulation of certain animal feeds.
