FDA Approves Mupirocin Ointment for Dogs with Bacterial Skin Infections

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved an abbreviated new animal drug application (ANADA) for Altana, Inc.'s mupirocin ointment, allowing its veterinary prescription use to treat bacterial skin infections in dogs.
