FDA Reopens Comment Period for Draft Guidance on Absorbable Hemostatic Device

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is extending the public comment period for its draft guidance on the Class II Special Controls Guidance Document: Absorbable Hemostatic Device until June 7, 2007, and concurrently reopening the comment period on a proposed rule to reclassify the device from class III to class II.
