FDA Approves New Animal Drug for Cats: Dexmedetomidine Injectable Solution

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has amended its animal drug regulations to allow for the veterinary prescription use of dexmedetomidine hydrochloride injectable solution, a sedative and analgesic developed by Orion Corp., in cats.
