FDA Approves Conditional Use of Florfenicol for Catfish Disease Control

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is updating its regulations to allow the conditional use of florfenicol, a new animal drug, to combat mortality in catfish caused by a specific bacterial disease, following a request from Schering-Plough Animal Health Corp.
