FBI to Publish Request for Proposal for Channeler Selection

The FBI plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to select a few third-party Channelers who will handle non-criminal justice applicant fingerprint submissions, collect fees, and forward submissions to the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services Division for background checks. The selected Channelers will receive electronic record check results for authorized recipients.
