U.S. Rule Exempts Certain Burmese Diplomats and Officials from Travel Restrictions

The new rule, established under the Immigration and Nationality Act, allows the Department of State to exempt Burmese diplomats and officials from travel restrictions imposed by the Tom Lantos Block Burmese JADE Act, which was enacted to restrict travel by Burmese nationals.
