U.S. Department of State Submits Request for Approval of Advance Notification Form for Tourist Activities in Antarctica

The Department of State has submitted a 30-day notice to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for approval of a proposed information collection, the Advance Notification Form: Tourist and Other Non-Governmental Activities in the Antarctic Treaty Area, which requires operators of U.S.-organized Antarctic expeditions to submit the form, estimated to take 10.5 hours per response, with a total estimated burden of 231 hours.
