FEMA Declares Major Disaster for U.S. Virgin Islands Following Hurricane Omar
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has issued a Notice of Presidential declaration of a major disaster for Public Assistance Only for the U.S. Virgin Islands, effective October 29, 2008, in response to Hurricane Omar, which affected the islands from October 14 to 16, 2008.
