EPA Proposes Revision to Diesel Particulate Matter Limit for Underground Mines
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to revise the existing diesel particulate matter (DPM) limit for underground metal and nonmetal mines, which would delay its implementation by several years and remove restrictions on newer mines. The EPA is seeking public comments on the proposed changes, including the use of a conversion factor for the limit and the costs and benefits of the rule.
