NMFS to Hold Joint Meeting for Highly Migratory Species and Billfish Advisory Panels in October 2005

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) will convene a three-day meeting of the Highly Migratory Species Advisory Panel (HMS AP) and Billfish Advisory Panel (Billfish AP) in October 2005, soliciting nominations for the panels and considering alternatives for the conservation and management of highly migratory species as outlined in the Draft Consolidated HMS Fishery Management Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Statement.
