HUD Finalizes Rule for Mixed-Finance Supportive Housing Development

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has finalized a rule allowing mixed-finance and for-profit participation in two supportive housing programs: Section 202 for the elderly and Section 811 for persons with disabilities. The rule aims to leverage private developer expertise and funding sources to create affordable housing.
