EPA Grants Exemption to Akzo Nobel for Ethylhexyl Glucopyranosides Used as Inert Ingredients

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted an exemption to Akzo Nobel Surface Chemistry LLC from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of two ethylhexyl glucopyranosides, allowing the chemicals to be used as inert ingredients in growing crops without establishing a maximum permissible level.
