Extension of Certain Time Frames for Employee Benefit Plans Affected by Hurricane Katrina

The U.S. government has extended time frames for employee benefit plans affected by Hurricane Katrina, including group health plans, disability plans, pension plans, and group health insurance issuers, under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act and Internal Revenue Code.
