Medicare Program Announces Premium for Uninsured Aged and Disabled Individuals for Calendar Year 2006

Medicare is announcing the premium for its Hospital Insurance (Part A) program for uninsured individuals aged 65 and over, as well as disabled individuals who have exhausted other entitlements, for the 2006 calendar year, with premiums set at $393 and $216 respectively.
