EPA Approves Preferred Alternative, Recommends Integration with Upper Mississippi River Navigation Ecosystem Sustainability Program

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has no objections to the preferred alternative and suggests that the final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) address how the plan will be integrated with the Upper Mississippi River Navigation Ecosystem Sustainability Program, as part of its rating of Low Objection (LO).
