EPA Approves North Carolina Clean Air Act Plan for Existing Incineration Facilities

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a revised Clean Air Act plan submitted by the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) for the state of North Carolina, which outlines guidelines for existing commercial and industrial solid waste incineration units that began construction before November 30, 1999.
