Endangered Fish and Wildlife: NMFS Announces Public Review of Proposed Conservation Plan for Southern Resident Killer Whales

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is seeking public input on a proposed conservation plan for the critically endangered Southern Resident killer whales, which was developed to address the species' depleted status under the Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972.
