NMFS Extends Comment Period for Consolidated Highly Migratory Species Fishery Management Plan

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is extending the comment period for the draft Consolidated Highly Migratory Species Fishery Management Plan (FMP) and its proposed rule due to the need to reschedule public hearings and account for the recovery period following Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The new comment period will run until March 1, 2006.
