EPA Comments on Wetland Impacts and FAA Runway Safety Area Plans

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has commented on the lack of information regarding the severity of adverse impacts on wetlands, urging the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to consider alternative runway safety area designs. The EPA also requested a mitigation plan to address unavoidable losses to wetlands.
