EPA Approves Connecticut's Plan to Reduce Air Pollution in New Haven Area

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve a State Implementation Plan revision submitted by the State of Connecticut, which establishes a Limited Maintenance Plan for the New Haven PM 10 nonattainment area and redesignates it to attainment for particulate matter standards. The EPA is approving this redesignation and plan due to Connecticut meeting the requirements of the Clean Air Act.
