USDA Amends National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances for Organic Livestock

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has finalized a rule to extend the use of methionine in organic poultry production until October 21, 2008, as recommended by the National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) in 2005.
