EPA Raises Concerns Over In-Valley Disposal Alternatives Due to Uncertainties and Environmental Risks

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has expressed concerns about two proposed disposal alternatives, In-Valley Disposal Alternatives and San Francisco Delta and Pacific Ocean Disposal Alternatives, citing uncertainties and potential environmental risks associated with the removal of selenium from drainage water and the disposal of biotreatment and reverse osmosis brine.
