EPA to Determine Indian Country Status for New Mexico Land Under Safe Drinking Water Act

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is seeking public comments and information on whether approximately 160 acres of land in New Mexico should be considered 'Indian country' under the Safe Drinking Water Act, which would determine the appropriate agency to issue a permit for underground injection control.
