VA Releases Cost-Based Billing Rates for Medical Care Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has issued a joint notice with the Office of Management and Budget outlining cost-based billing rates for various medical care services, including those provided to pensioners of allied nations and beneficiaries of the Department of Defense, until charges for outpatient dental care and prescription drugs are implemented.
