EPA Makes Stratospheric Ozone Data Available, Sets Phasing Out Milestone for HCFC-22 and HCFC-142b

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is releasing information on the current and projected use of HCFC-22 and HCFC-142b, substances that deplete the ozone layer, as the US meets its obligations under the Montreal Protocol and the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990, with a key deadline of January 1, 2010, when production of these substances is restricted.
