West Virginia Regulatory Program to Revise Surety Bond Regulations

The state of West Virginia is proposing an amendment to its regulatory program under the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977, aimed at providing an alternative source of reliable financial information for surety bonds in the coal industry, and allowing licensed and financially stable sureties to participate in the program.
