Alaska Railroad Corporation Seeks Exemption to Build Rail Line Between Eielson Air Force Base and Fort Greely

The Alaska Railroad Corporation has submitted a petition to the Surface Transportation Board to construct and operate a rail line between Eielson Air Force Base in North Pole and Fort Greely in Delta Junction, Alaska, following a notice of intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement and a request for public comments that was corrected from January 13, 2005 to January 13, 2006.
