USDA Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Silvicultural and Fuel Treatment Project in California

The USDA Forest Service is planning to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for a silvicultural and fuel treatment project on approximately 5,057 acres in the Sierraville Ranger District of the Tahoe National Forest in California, as part of the Herger-Feinstein Quincy Library Group Forest Recovery Act Pilot Project, with proposed implementation within the next 5 years.
