Entities Submit Applications for Shortnose Sturgeon Research Permits

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has received permit applications from several entities for scientific research on shortnose sturgeon, a critically endangered species, including the University of Georgia, Duke Power Company, North Carolina Zoological Park, and the USGS- BRD.
