Resource Agency Procedures for Conditions and Prescriptions in Hydropower Licenses

The US Departments of Agriculture, Interior, and Commerce are establishing procedures for expedited trial-type hearings to resolve disputes over hydropower license conditions and prescriptions, as mandated by the 2005 Energy Policy Act. The new rules, effective immediately, allow for alternative conditions and prescriptions, but the Departments invite comments on improving the process.
