FEC Eliminates $5,000 Exemption for Levin Funds in State, District, and Local Party Committees

The Federal Election Commission is repealing an exemption allowing state, district, and local party committees to use only Levin funds for certain federal election activities totaling $5,000 or less annually, following a court ruling that invalidated the exemption.
