Montana Alberta Tie, Ltd. Seeks Presidential Permit for 230,000-Volt International Transmission Line

The Department of Energy announces plans to prepare an environmental assessment and conduct public scoping meetings for a proposed 230,000-volt transmission line crossing the U.S.-Canada border in northwest Montana, as part of an application by Montana Alberta Tie, Ltd. for a Presidential permit.
