DOE to Reopen Public Scoping Period for Strategic Petroleum Reserve Expansion

The US Department of Energy (DOE) has announced that it will reopen the public scoping period for the expansion of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, following a request from the Governor of Mississippi to include a new site at Bruinsburg Salt Dome in the analysis of potential sites and environmental impacts.
