Notice of Intent to Prepare a Site-Wide Environmental Impact Statement for the Y-12 National Security Complex

The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) has announced its intent to prepare a Site-Wide Environmental Impact Statement (SWEIS) for the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, due to potential major federal actions that could affect the environment. The new SWEIS will evaluate new proposals and update the original SWEIS issued in 2001.
