Helena National Forest to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Vegetation Management and Roadwork in Cabin Gulch and North Fork of Deep Creek

The Helena National Forest plans to restore and maintain the health of fire-dependent ecosystems in the Cabin Gulch and North Fork of Deep Creek drainages through vegetation management and roadwork, aiming to increase resistance and resilience to catastrophic disturbances from fire events and disease/insect outbreaks.
