Request for Public Comment on Short Supply Petition Under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)

The Committee for the Implementation of Textile Agreements (CITA) is seeking public comments on a request from Polymer Group, Inc. to modify the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) rules of origin for nonwoven wipes. The request, submitted by Alston & Bird LLP on behalf of Polymer Group, Inc., seeks to allow the use of non-North American viscose rayon staple fiber in the production of these products.
