EPA Proposes Amendments to Oil Pollution Prevention Regulations

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing amendments to the Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan requirements to reduce regulatory burdens for certain facilities. The proposed changes would allow smaller facilities to self-certify their plans and exempt certain types of equipment from secondary containment requirements.
