US Amends Regulations to Allow Import of Whole Cuts of Boneless Beef from Japan

The US government is permitting the importation of whole cuts of boneless beef from Japan, following a request from the Japanese government and after conducting a risk assessment and considering public feedback, while maintaining safeguards to prevent the introduction of BSE into the US.
